Gillette Old Type Frankenrazor ID?

I bought the razor on the far left in these pics from Robert Paulson here on the forums. I liked the look of the handle which seems more "crackproof" and heavy than most of the Old Types. Robert assumed and I also assume it is a Frankenrazor due to the odd handle which is VERY much like the Merkur 1904 in appearance.
What do you fellers think? Could that be a Merkur handle or did Gillette or some other company of yore make a handle of that design? When I recieve the razor I will check the head for any serial numbers.
Thanks for any input. And thanks to Robert for selliing it to me.

I'm sure that is not a Merkur 1904 handle -- it is too long. Perhaps a vintage Merkur, but more likely a vintage Gillette. And the handle is obviously older than a recent Merkur.

But the Merkur 1904 must have got its inspiration from something and maybe that's it. I just never saw another like it.

EDIT: And you are right that sucker isn't going to crack! Probably could be used as a hole punch for sheet metal!

Well I plan on giving it a spin when it arrives  I like a nice HEAVY razor and that thing looks like it will fit the bill. Just trying to make up my mind whether to load it with Lord Super Stainless or Gillette Greens.
