Gillette New vs Merkur 11c

Hello guys,

Looking for opinions as to which razor is more aggressive, the "11c" or the "new". I know YMMV but I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

I am really not sure which is more aggressive, but I much prefer the Gillette NEW over the Merkur 11C. I have only used my 11C about 6-8 times, but thus far I do not find it provides a comfortable shave. The Gillette NEW on the other hand, provides a very comfortable and close shave. Just to let you know my preferences in razors, I usually prefer somewhat aggressive razors and mostly prefer Merkur razors over Gillette razors. However with open combs, I think Gillette really nailed it with their NEW. And their NEW Deluxe is one of my two favorite razors. The other being the Merkur Futur.
