Got my Gillette New Standard in today. According to Waits, these were made between 1922 and 1929. But mine doesn't have a serial number. The date chart shows these years are supposed to have a serial number. I'm assuming the date chart is wrong?

No. If you look closer, you will see that there was a period of time they were produced with no serial numbers. I believe Oct of 1927 to August of 1928 or so.
