I finally got the book I was after since I started collecting. Getting this book is almost as good as a new razor in the mailbox. This guy Phil is a great guy to deal with many of my razors have come from his auctions.

I picked up the same book as a pdf. Not nearly as cool as yours.

So far I really like this Gillette ad and the use Ivory soap razor picture. I have been after one of these Ivory soap razors for months but this picture will have to do for now. Look closely at the ad it states that a slight turn will change the closeness of the shave? I am going to grab my single ring tonight and mess with the screw and see if I can tell the difference.

I also like "they are so inexpensive that when dull you throw them away as you would an old pen" [DE blades]

While buying razors from Phil I asked if he would sell me a copy a few months back but he was sold out at the time. On my last razor delivery from Phil he included a note with the purchase stating that he found one last copy and sent it on to me for a very fair price. He charged me the same price at which he sold the others on Ebay $30.00 + $4.00 shipping. I am sure this is the very last copy he had available for sale.
