Gillette Blade Date Codes

Is C2 a date code? If yes, are Gillette date codes on blades the same as on razors, making this a 2nd quarter 1982?

Ah, thanks! It came with an Old type razor. Seems it has been in a drawer for longer than I thought! ;-)

I'm guessing the 30s being in that type of set. That's also a made in England blade so I dont if that changes anything about dating it.

No, that's a 50's blade from a box (non-dispenser)
