Gillette 1967 production?

I've been thinking about getting the son-in-law a DE for his birthday. Been looking for a 3rd quarter 1967 SS, but have only found every other quarter of that year and no M 3.

Did they slack off on production in that quarter, or is it just the shaving world law of nature that when you are looking for a particular model you can't find it?
