GFT Rose Soap vs Cream

I'm starting to develop a slight preference for soaps over creams.

Have always had GFT Rose Cream as a part of my den. Can someone who has used both let me know how they compare. Less interested in scent as in quality of lather/shave.

I gather too they have reformulated with no tallow. I'm noting my preference of late is for AOS soaps which I believe have tallow.

I haven't use the Trumper Rose, but I have used both Trumper soaps and Trumper creams. While I enjoy the creams, the soaps are awesome. They lather very easily, don't dry out, and provide terrific cushion and glide. The soaps get my highest recommendation.

Trumper's Rose soap is very nice. It's easy to work up a nice lather and has a very pleasant (but not overpowering) scent.

I must concur Trumpers Rose soap is very nice. I was surprised how subtle the scent really is tho. Too subtle for my taste. Limes is another good option.

I've only tried a sample or two of the Rose shaving cream (about 4 shaves), but I bought a puck of the soap and I've used that much more. The general rule about soaps producing slicker, but less dense lather than a lather generated from a cream seems true in my recollection. However, it's not by much. The soap is really slick and maybe only slightly less dense of a lather than the cream. It really is one of my favorite soaps.

I've tried and had used both side by side for some time. I ended up using up the cream and go back to it. The soap is so very moisturising and remains in my top 3 soaps of all time. I can't tell you how much I like it. The reformulated one for that. I'm on my second puck which must be a record for me. It's what got me into soaps in the first place.

Lather quality from Trumpers Rose cream is the same as any other English cream. Cream has a stronger scent than the the soap. My face didn't like the cream (burning) but does okay with the soap. The soap is quite good and I would recommend it.

Trumper's Rose Soap is a true classic in my opinion. I really never expected to like it but has become a must have for myself. I prefer the soap to the cream as it has a much more realistic true rose scent and I am doubtful that I will ever purchase any creams in the future being firmly in the soap camp for some time now.
