Hey guys, well after just visiting 3 uk websites( i wont mention any names) in order to buy a nice new straight, each and every straight razor advertised on all 3 sites are not in stock. Its not particularly easy to find uk straight suppliers so does anyone have any advice on a nice usa store that i can throw my money into? My parents live in Kansas but are visiting in the next few weeks so i will ask them to bring my order. Without doubt it will work out cheaper for me so i guess its me who wins. I just wish the stores here at least had some sort of offering but i guess my timing may be off. I am open to any suggestions you guys may have. Thanks. Jon

How much are you looking to spend on a straight? There is Rasurpur.de , and Revisor in Germany which offer straights. Or you could contact Jenes (Jeness on here) and ask him to make you a custom straight razor which doesn't cost as much as you'd think.
That is the route I would go for getting a straight razor, unless you want a custom razor made in the States or a Hart Steel razor.

How much does a custom go for? How do I get in touch with someone about these?
Goes for $250 well into the thousands. Depends on the maker, and the materials. People I know of are Jenes (Username Jeness on here), Max Sprecher, Tim Zowada, and Pierre (Bear_Blade), there are others but I can't think of them right now.
