I picked this knife up today at an estate sale it is one solid piece of metal / stainless not sure. On the bottom it is stamped Gerber my question is this: Is this a meat cutters or butchers knife?
It is a hunting knife. Its intended purpose would be mostly elk and deer sized game. Sure you could break down a steer with it but I would rather have something with a bigger curve. Handle angle makes me think more for cutting...
