Georgetown Pottery is now shipping their new G12 Scuttle. I just got mine in today. This is the replacement for their G5. It's a real beauty. It holds 12 ozs. I can't wait to try it.

Hammada is the best color, looks great. I sold my hammada G5, it was too big for me and scaled down to their brush scuttle or course in hammada. The new stopper is classeeeee!
I received my Hamada and Blue G12. The finish and quality is superb. I really like the GT cork. Please let us know at what water temperature you have the best success with. Happy shaving. David

It cost me $50.00. I usually just put hot water from my tap into it.

Had a G5 in Hamada as well. No doubt that GTP offers beautiful color options. Hope this one keeps the water toasty for you. She's a real looker, but I'm a Dirtybird kind of guy.

I do have one minor complaint. The bottom of it was kind of coarse so I took a piece of emory cloth to it. Now it is nice and smooth.

Hadn't thought of doing that. I try to keep my G5 on a towel so it doesn't scuff the countertop.
I wonder if the new pewter capped stopper is available separately...

Which one did you order?
Used my new G12 today and it worked great. It was smaller than I imagined, but that's why I ordered it in the first place and after a few brush ticks on the side I was fine.
Now I understand why 12 oz of water is enough - it's a fairly small bowl (at least compared to my large Becker).

Thanks, I couldn't decide on the color. I almost got the plain white. They all look so good. I have a 16 oz. Becker and they look almost the same in size.
