Today I received a package from a fellow member (I don't know if I should name names, so for now I'll keep it anonymous). He knew I hadn't used shaving creams before, and decided to send me some he wasn't using. Well, a little more than I expected came with those shaving creams. I have no pictures right now, sorry, but here is what he sent me:

I am astonished by the generosity of him. It's people like that that make this board so amazing! I promise in the near future I plan to give back myself. I'm so excited to try everything, but I don't know what to try first I wore Ferrari today and it's pretty much Southern Blend as far as I can tell, but I am going to compare them (I catch some leather notes in Ferrari from Special Reserve). I took a sniff of Tabac aftershave, and it smells quite nice so far. Today I even got the Z-14 Aftershave/Cologne set I bought for $15 from Walmart. I'm a VERY happy guy!

Once again, I send him a public thank you. This really made my day, completely. I just wanted to let you all know there are still great people in this world even though sometimes the world can seem kind of dire. I am so grateful and thankful for what he has done, and I only hope this keeps on happening in this community among us all!

Just another fine example what B&B is all about. I've done some PIFing and been on the receiving end as well. Even when buying off the BST, the members have been gentlemanly. But in all truth, the mods are pretty good at policing and keeping the riffraff at bay, which allows the rest of the members to be so open and generous.

Thanks guys! This site is THE BEST. But what do I try first? Something tells me this Tabac will be awesome. It smells pretty good, too (not lathered yet, though). I like this Ferrari scent. The dry down has more floral notes I think than Southern Blend, but the Juniper in the beginning (I assume it is since Southern Blend has it, too) is NICE. Oh man, I'm still excited

Michigan, that rose smells nice. I'll lather it and see how it is. I hope I don't fall in love with it The Oriental Spice smells okay, but it's one I'd be totally okay just getting the still produced Fraser cream. I'm sure I could find a decent alternative to rose...

Oh, and that Speick soap? AMAZING. The scent is a very manly clean. It's not floral clean like so many "clean" scents today. I'll need to buy millions of bars now
