GB "Chilled" SS?

Anyone tried this soap?

I didn't see a review for it in the Review section, but I also noticed that it was listed as "New" on the site.

I just wanted to see how big a "Chill" this soap had to it?

Thanks.

I guess nobody has tried it yet...
Twist my arm, but I guess I will have to order the soap(and AS) and let yall know how "Chill" it is :thumbup1:

I haven't tried it, but do a search in the SOTD thread for it. I remember seeing someone there post about using it. From memory, that individual said it had a good "chill" to it.

I heard it's the same as SCS's Blue Line, which has gotten a lot of praise. I think Richmondosi has it really enjoys it in the GB version. You can't go wrong with either.

I've tried the soap and AS and they are both very chilly. It'll give anything on the market a run for their money for both menthol and smell. It is NOT the same as SCS though. This is Ray's proprietary product manufactured by Saint Sue. Her stuff is great, but it's not fair to either of them to say they're the "same" because they are both great and different in their own right.

Wondering when you'd jump in.:biggrin1:

Thanks for clearing that up:thumbup1:

I did just get a stick of this last week, but haven't used it yet. Will lather it up tomorrow and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up pulling the trigger on both the soap and AS on Saturday and now I can't wait to get this stuff.
Of course since I was paying shipping and handling I had to pick a few other things up as well

I have heard great things about the "normal" signature scent and with the Chill factor I just couldn't pass this soap(and AS) up.

Used a stick of this today. At first I didn't notice the cooling, but as I got to reapplying for additonal passes it started to register. By the time I rinsed, the chill was defintely there. It has this sorta clean citrus smell to it.

It took a little more water to get it going than I'm used to with other sticks. Got a really nice shave out of it, and haven't noticed any redness or iritation from it.

My GB Chilled arrived yesterday in the mail!

I got home to a package waiting for me. Lucky for me I shave at night due to having to leave so early for work each morning. So after dinner I setup with my new GB Chilled SS and GB Chilled AS.

WOW!! I too didn't notice the chill on the first pass, but as I was reapplying for my second pass the Chill hit me

Not only did I get the Chill factor I have been looking for in a soap but the soap itself is wonderful and gave me a great shave :thumbup1:

After cleaning up I applied the AS and this stuff packs a punch. Not in a bad way, but in a Chilly, stuck my face in the fridge good way.

I can't thank Ray enough for helping me with this order and I will be back again and again.

I think today i truly figured out how to make good lather with GB. I had been making lather that worked better than any can of goo for me but I had time this morning so experimented a little and found out what really good lather is all about. I am going to stock up on GB refill pucks and stash them away. I can't risk that Texas might secede or CT fall off the map and I wouldn't be able to get GB shipped in. I think i would have to stop shaving.
