Fuller brush find

. $IMG_0270.jpg$IMG_0271.jpgI found this Fuller badger brush at a local antique shop today. I don't know much about vintage brushes, but it looks to be a fairly modern brush. The underside says "Fuller Made in U.S.A. Set in rubber Pure badger". I cleaned it up a bit, and it still has that new badger funk to it. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

It sure is a perdy shave brush...good find. Years ago there were traveling salesmen that went door to door selling brushes of all types for the Fuller Brush Company. I suggest lookin' at Wikipedia.

I remember the Fuller Brush Man. He used to come to our house and had a sample suit case. My mother would buy various types of brushes from him, not just for personal use but household use as well. All of our hair brushes were Fuller Brushes.

I remember that Fuller Brushes were known for their quality.

We used to have Bill Porter deliver to us here in Portland, I never met him, but used to see him all over, he was handicapped, but refused to let it stop him, he would have my mom write the order as he was unable to, he would be dressed in suit and tie with overcoat and hat, a true inspiration, Bill Macy played him in a bio pic, anyway, nice find!
