French enameled iron Dutch oven roaster

I have a Le Creuset and love it. Works brilliantly. Mine was a gift, but seeing as how all things kirkland are great I'll be looking at them for my next one.

I've got a couple of the Lodge enameled iron dutch ovens and I love them. I think of them as my poor man's Le Creuset. They are great for going from stove top or oven to the table. Cleaning them is a snap. So far I've used them mostly on the stove top to make soup or fried foods. I know I've used them in the oven, but I can't remember for what.

Staub comes in some nice colors and I'm sure Is top notch the 75 and change Kirkland does have those dripping facilitators in the lid design and a chromed knob overall very nice.

I'm sold to Chasseur. Works well and low maintenance.

I have a 7-qt. Le Creuset as well. It's the oval one and I would surrender just about anything in my kitchen before I gave up this
Dutch oven. One can braise and roast meats and saute vegetables and cook stews and soups with one pot. Pot roasts go from cooktop to oven and turn out better than any other way of fixing this staple at my house.

I fretted about cleaning it until I realized some stains were eventually going to happen. But nearly all stains can be removed with Bar Keepers Friend. Lately, I've had more success with ProForce cleaner to remove stains.

I've a Mario Bitali version. I don't use it very much but Fall/Winter is when I do use it. Squash soup, chicken with 20 or so cloves of garlic. Most other cooking I might have used a Dutch oven with gets pressure cooked.

My wife asked for a Cast Iron Enameled dutch oven for Christmas. We are a little strapped for cash with one income and two kids so I went with Lodge. It came in the mail yesterday, looks great

Lodge is what I was shooting for but costco had these iron and porcelain is very old technology heck china probably invented the technology in 1000bc so... Had bone in chuck roast last night.

How much are those Kirkland ones? I was at Marshalls a few days ago and saw a nice Cuisinart one for $60. They also had Le Crescent but they were $150.00.

I have a large Denby, the inner enamelling is a little rough but it still cooks great. It's also got steam bumps all over the inner of the lid and weighs a damned ton. Got some lemon coriander chicken curry bubbling away in it now!
