And second, I absolutely agree with that particular review. Oud Edition is just fantastic. It is potent, but also accessible. They use a very “easy” type of synthetic oud in it, so it makes it super wearable (when applied with restraint). You will not be perceived as trying to make a statement with your niche stank haha
Hard to believe it’s so affordable too. Definitely one of the best kept secrets out there.
For reference, it’s the same type of oud I detect in the drydowns of Dunhill Icon Absolute and Nuit d’Issey Noir Argent. Except this time, it doesn’t wait for the drydown, it roundhouse kicks you right in the nose, right at the very beginning. And stays for the whole ride, mellowing out a bit over time.
