Floid - Italian, Spanish

Hello everyone
I"m new to the forums and have recently expanded some of my wet shaving supplies. I've seen Floid aftershaves highly reviewed and was curious if there was any distinction between the Spanish and Italian versions?
Any preferences on which to try? Since they all contain alcohol is dryness an issue if you use them?
Thanks!

Not sure about the Italian/Spanish distinction. Floid Blue is my favorite AS; my face always feels smooth, soothed and refreshed when I use it. "The Genuine" is nice too, but I have a couple of bay rums that I like better.

I have somewhat oily skin so I don't notice any dryness from Floids - the bay rums would be more likely to dry out my skin I expect.

I have tried Floid Blue, Vigiroso, and Floid Black. I really enjoy the Blue. The scent is wonderful and my face feels great after its use. I tend to have dry skin and my face does not feel dry after using the Blue.

If I remember correctly the "Spanish versions" usually have a stronger scent and more menthol. But they all are made in Spain now I think

Thanks! I live in NY and tried to find a place that sells them. I"d like to try these before purchasing a large bottle ... they come in 400 ml size! I"ll have to try out the Floid blue.

Check out Pasteur's Pharmacy in Manhattan. Two locations: one in midtown (34th?) and one on the UES. I think they stock Floid.

The Spanish versions Suave and Vigorosso are a bit heavier than the Italian versions. I was not impressed with the Italian Floid Blue.

The Spanish Floids compared to the Italian ones contain more alcohol and have a sharper scent. All Floids are great barbershop products and have a distinctive "powdery" fragrance. My favourite are the Floid Blue and the Mentolado Suave.
