Check out my gillette razor I found at a flea market. Anyone know exactly what it is?
It's a New Improved and the short handle makes it a Tuckaway.

I also got the metal case and blade holder with it. This thing looks brand new! Used very little.
The old blade boxes make great blade carriers for you Dopp (travel) shaving kit. I carry one for spent blades instead of throwing them in the hotel trash where someone unsuspecting, can get hurt.
The New Improved razors from Gillette are all gorgeous. I think everyone should have at least one. And if you want a really close shave, this razor will do it. But if you've never used one go slow the first time. It's a lot more aggressive then a Super Speed.

That's a really good score and a highly valued razor by the members that have them. I have both the gold and the silver models and really have to stifle my urge to bid on them whenever I see them on ebay.

To meglad, great little find, very cool and a compact kit. Do you have any pics of the whole set? They're nice and small, I think the idea was to be quite portable and good for travel. But of course, who wants to beat up that great looking case!
