Fish eye lense

OK, so I am just getting back into photography, and I am hinking about getting a fish eye lens. While I really like Canon lenses, I really do not want to spend that much money. I sold off some razors to fund this purchase, and was looking at thing lens on the bay.

There will be trade-offs. When I was using Canon, I stuck with their glass even though it was more expensive.

It looks good to me...
1. How often are you going to use a fish eye? Really?
2. the price looks good.
Is this for film, or digital?
Is it coated? It looks like it, but the description doesn't say.
To me a picture can look good from a fish eye, but its like Cajun music, I have to be in the mood, and a little goes a long way.

I ordered the lense. i figured 289 was good enough for a fish eye lens. i really dont want to spend the money for a canon fish eye lens, because like you said, a little goes a long way.
