Just had my first shave with my "new" Flare Tip Super Speed (B3)! 
Received it from Sailorman via the B/S/T....thanks Pete. Wanted to try it yesterday as soon as I unwrapped it. However, I had a DFS on Friday night with my trusty British Tech so I thought I'd better restrain myself and wait until there was something to shave!
First impressions:
It's obviously a bit heftier than the Tech with it's aluminium handle. Being conscious of this, I made sure to watch my pressure.
Loaded a SuperSilver blade rather than one of my recently acquired Bleue Extras as I didn't want to add an extra variable. The TTO action and the notch on the center bar made the process much easier (and safer) than 3 piece
I had to be a little bit more creative with the passes under my nose as the head feels a lot bigger than the Tech. Additionally, the higher guard meant I had to watch the angle a bit more carefully.
Got 2 little nicks that the styptic handled easily.
Rinsing off the razor, after use, took a bit longer as there are a lot more nooks and crannies.
Overall, a really nice, close shave!
I still really like my Tech...but I think I'm going to be relegating it to the sub's bench (for now).
