Here is my first DE razor. Its a Gillette Tech, Y3 date code. Puts it at 1953. Snagged it off eBay for 5 bucks and change.

A tech in mint condition for $5. That's a VERY good deal! Enjoy and take good care of it. I love that etched diamond Gillette logo. Mine is the same year and NOS.
Nice looking Ball Tip Tech! That was my first DE razor & I use it often in my rotation. I have really been digging the Fat Handled Tech that I acquired recently too! Techs are the perfect DE razors for newbies & experienced shavers alike!

Great score at a great price! That would be my pick for a first DE razor. Paired with a Astra SP blade, or a Feather later on will yield some great shaves. Enjoy!
