So, I have had my EJ87 for a little over two weeks now. Up until yesterday, I had been playing it safe and only doing WTG passes on my neck. On my upper cheeks, I had been enjoying WTG and ATG to get them nice and smooth (I wear a full beard). Well, yesterday I decided to live it bold and go ahead and go for the BBS on my neck. I had been scared to go ATG because I read that you should wait until you've mastered your DE razor technique. Well, I haven't mastered it, but I'm definitely comfortable with it. Anyhow, I lathered up, did a WTG pass, re-lathered, and did a slow, careful ATG pass. No discomfort, only a very, very slight tugging sensation on one patch, but I believe that is because it was my third shave with this same Feather. When all was said and done, I was smooth as my newborn son's hiney (but I smelled good...like Mama Bear's Northwoods instead of recycled Enfamil 
). Splashed some Clubman on, no stinging, no burning. Today, 12 hours later, I have no trace of irritation or shaving bumps.
The funny part? My face is still just about as smooth half a day after my shave as it used to be immediately after a cartridge/canned goo shave.
