Finding the hair direction?

Anybody got any ideas or tips for finding the direction hair grows in? I tried letting it grow for a few days but there's a few patches on my neck and I just cant seem to figure them out at all..... Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.

For some areas, there may be no single direction. On the sides on my neck, it just grows all kinds of ways...it tends a certain way, and that's the way I define it for WTG.

"finger" feeling the growth after 3-5 days helps

Rub a dry cotton ball on a few days growth. The cotton fibers will stick the the whiskers when you rub against the grain. This post may help.

You know, I think that might do the trick. I'll have to try that out as soon as I get some growth. Thanks for the tips

While you're shaving, after you have shaved an area once, run your slightly lathered fingers over your face in every direction. You'll feel the most stubble going ATG and learn what direction your beard is growing in. You'll probably find areas growing in all different directions. Memorize them and shave against them (ATG) for that BBS shave.
