....snagged a Fatboy! It's an F2, and I got from member "Just looking". Had I not been looking at his B/S/T thread, I probably would have missed it. In fact, I just missed out on another one a few minutes prior. Folks aren't kidding about the way these things feel in your hand, solid as a rock! This one's in great condition, no brassing, and just a few minor scratches on the head. Now, I'm just trying to decide which blade to use in it for the first shave. I've already got a GSB going this week, with one shave on it, so I'd hate to toss it. I typically try any new razor with an Astra SP the first time. Well, here's some pictures. They're not very good, but I think everyone on here knows what a Fatboy looks like by now

Okay, so she had her first run this morning, with a fresh Astra SP. I used the same settings as I use on my Slim (5 for the initial north-south pass, 3 for the south-north pass). I think I actually might like the higher-domed head versus the flatter one of the Slim, especially as I don't shave my upper lip. I got the same BBS with no irritation as I do with my Slim. I won't say that it shaved better than my Slim, but its right up there with it. I'm going to spend the next few weeks trying different blades with it, and see if I can lock in the perfect blade for this razor. The thing that stands out the most for me is the weight of the razor, but in a good way. You can tell you're holding something substantial in your hand.

So, now I have two go-to adjustables (I still haven't figured out the Super Adjustable yet). This one might be my RAD killer.....but we'll see!
