Finally Pulled the Trigger

I've been saving up for some Trumper products forever. I finally was able to squirrel enough $ away to get my heart's desire!

Wild Fern Cologne
Violet Shaving Soap in a Bowl
Eucris Hair Dressing

I also got a Woodyhog brush and folding pocket comb from Kent to complete the needless but long-coveted purchase.

Now it's on to the next target of my AD!

I've not tried the hair dressing, but the Wild Fern and Violet SS are really nice products. I really enjoy the Violet SS. Good score:smile:

Good on ya boyo! Do let us know about the Eucris hair dressing. I have always fancied it but have never pulled the trigger since I was unsure of the oil content. I have blond hair and products containing oil are dicey at best. They sometimes make me look like a dirty grease ball.

Regards, Todd

Todd,

I have fine reddish blonde hair and until recently had never found a hair dressing that I really liked.

Three months ago, I bought Trumper's Floreka Green and it is perfect for my hair. My hair is not oily, holds in place without a crust, and has a natural healthy sheen.

It is expensive but worth every penny to me.

will do

Trumper also makes a hair dressing without any oil--Coronis. I think it was made for King George (#?) for his coronation. There is no oil in it so he wouldn't stain the crown jewels. It's scented with their Skye fragrance, which has some big fans as well as some big detractors

How's the scent? It sounds nice--floral and musk

An update: My love for Wild Fern has been well documented.

Trumper Violet is awesome. What a bright, sunny scent that is subtle and yet present. The shave is one of the best I ever had.

The Eucris hair dressing: I really like it. It doesn't smell like Eucris EdT--it's more of a light floral. Honestly it is not unlike Mr. Bubble bubble bath, or the scent of Trumper Ajaccio Violets in the bottle before being applied. This is actually a really nice scent, it just has associations of Mr Bubble for me. I may have preferred the Eucris scent, but I like the one it has as well. It works like a charm--nice hold, nice luster, not oily at all.

The Woodyhog I am very happy with, and folding pocket comb will come in handy.

A great purchase I'm glad I pulled the trigger on (and the circle is closed).
