Here in Portland, Maine USA I finally have a locally owned store that is has some decent shave supplies. As of now they have Edwin Jagger razors and a pretty good selection of blades. They also have Proraso Pre/post cream, shave soaps and tubes of shave creams. The owner, Kazeem, is a really cool guy and he tells me there will be more stuff added soon. Also there is a possibility of a locally made straight razor. The place is called Portland Trading Co. if anyone happens to be in the neighborhood. I'll try to send some photos of the inside next time I go in.

Great! I'd love to check it out next time I'm in the area.
It's good to have a local shop with decent shaving gear. The small town where I work in northern England has a place selling Merkur razors and blades, plus soaps and lotions from Taylors of Old Bond Street and others, but that sort of outlet isn't at all common.

I guess good shave gear is too specialized to warrant its own outlet. Seems like it might be making a come back hopefully.
