I ordered samples of Filthy Philosopher, Frisky Eucalyptus, and Mountain man, and received them yesterday. The first one I've tried is Frisky Eucalyptus and it is amazing! It has a moderate minty kick to it, but not overdone. It smells very clean/herbal, kinda reminds me of a green tea smell. The lather it makes is incredible and it leaves me feeling very clean refreshed after use. I seriously relathered three extra times becasue it was so rich and smelled really nice. It was a thick, yogurty lather that was just about shave worthy!
If you haven't tried these soaps yet I highly recommend you do! They're 100% all natural and they leave the skin feeling very conditioned without feeling like theres left over residue or too oily afterwards. I'll update as I try the other samples.
***UPDATE***
I tried the other two scents (Filthy Philosopher adn Mountain Man) yesterday and today.
Filthy Philosopher has subtle earthy type scent that also reminds me a little of black tea. While I'm not too crazy about the scent, the performance was still top notch. Thick, yogurty lather that rinsed off easily and left my skin feeling clean and moisturized.
Mountain man has a leafy/wet grass type smell. I like the use of tea tree oil in this soap for its astringent properties. I used it on my body and as a face wash and it was quite pleasant. The lather seems to be consistant with the previous two I sampled and the scent is very light so it doesn't linger around after drying off.
All in all, I think I may have found a new favorite soap brand, now I just have to pick a scent from their vast list of "flavors".
