Filarmonica Bevel Angle

I can't seem to find any examples of Filarmonica stock bevel angles. If anyone can do a calculation of their filly that would be very helpful for a restoration of mine. Thanks

I imagine there will be some differences between models.
I have a virtually new (honed twice) Novodur 2nd gen.
16.9 is the angle for it. A Filly Barbas Duras honed a few more times still pretty much new at 16.6
Hope that helps.

Thanks that does help, it's a lot thinner than I imagined. Specifically I have a sub cero that needs thinning and I'm wondering what the goal should be.

I don't have a Filly on hand but a bevel angle between 16 and 17 degrees will work quite nicely. Over 19 and the shave can be a bit sluggish. Under 14 and many steels won't support an edge. So there ya go. Be sure that you are measuring and calculating properly before you start taking steel off.

I also have within my rotation, a Subcero 13,
which I think still has most of the steel on it.

And also within my rotation, a Double Tempered 12
