I received two Feather Portable razors yesterday, and had to try one out today.
Short version: Great shave, good balance for a small razor, good feedback.
Longer version: Loaded with a fresh Personna Red blade, I noted that I had to pay attention to the blade alignment, but it actually went in fairly straight the first time without doing anything. I took a 4X loupe to it, and noticed that the blade edge sat very slightly closer to one side than the other, but was parallel to each edge. Shaving with it, I could feel that difference, but it was minimal. I did my usual WTG/XTG/ATG passes and got a great, nick-free shave(Pre de Provence soap/ Rooney 3/1Super). Now I have a decent travel razor without compromising the shave results.
BTW, I loaded the same blade in the other Portable, and it sat just the same in that one. Didn't shave with that second razor though.
