So do you guys love a pen brand more then any other

Is there a certain clip you go looking for in your hunts for a nee pen ?

Who is it ? And what would it take for someone else ti steal your heart ?

I own more Watermans than any other manufacturer, so I guess they're my favorite. They're one of the few companies that I like everything from early 1900s to current.

Yes Parker and it arrow clip is pretty much what my
dad used. this is on the top of my pen list then comes cross not those skinny cross pens my hands get sweaty and my fingers slide down. But since I have been looking at pens lately. I have come across some I did no know about. He's the waterman I have listed is a bit pricy for me but I love it's looks. Same goes for the imperial.
1.)The waterman Edison
2.)Parker flighter
3.)Parker 75
4.)scheaffer imperial
To me the high end MB fall under collector categories and I would collect them as I would other collectables ( but I am pretty sure I will never own a pen like that. So for practicality I would have to stick with modern pens in at 300 or less even being comfortable carrying something like a pilot heritage back and forth to work. Or even a not too expensive sac filled pen. Or anything that doesn't require a ink cartridge. Gents that's my $0.02. now i cant wait to talk about a thread on vintage pens. To each their own.
Cheers

I own Sailor, Waterman, Parker and TWSBI pens and by far the Sailor has the best and smoothest nib. Now, I haven't tried all the pens on the list, so for now...it's Sailor.

lol Well I needed a major player to keep "Other" up in the ranks, Lamy is the pen for the job....

Thats the story I'm going with

I'm sure a mod can add a few brands to your poll, James.

My favorite brand is DaniFrankliPiloSailoPeliKawEdisoSheaffParkWater-Christoph.

Variety is the spice of life, so I don't play favorites.

Seems my favorite brands are all no longer made: Eversharp, Conklin, Esterbrook. Okay, there's a modern Conklin, but it's not the same.

I suppose out of modern brands I have the best feeling about Pilot and Pelikan. Apart from overall quality, which is high, Pelikan has the coolest clip.

I am a Waterman user. I've had many brands but it is the Watermans that I reach for most often. They just feel more substantial and comfortable in the hand than others I own (well to me anyway)

Another vote for Waterman. It feels great to me, performs well, and looks what I think a fountain pen should look like.

lol thats my new favourite smile behind :syn: which is also fitting for a Jinhou I would imagine,.... although i thought it was Jinhao

I dont think ive used enough pens yet to know who I would like the best, I know after using my Pilot, them as well as Pelikan are two that I would never be unhappy buying another of their offerings

And my second vintage Parker is in the works, or at least being fixed so after the incredible P51 experiences I have I kind of have the Three P's of Pens going on lol
