Favourite BUDGET Shave creams and soaps.

Hello!

Just wanted everyone's personal opinion on their favourite BUDGET creams and soaps.
Obviously we are talking cheap but good quality...nothing high end.
I will start you off and say here in the UK I love Ingrams.... it's cheap at around £1.50 a tube ($2.40) and gives a nice Mentholated shave and good lather!

Not sure if Proraso red is in the budget category but its the only cream I use.

As your in the UK you'll be able to get hold of Erasmic Soap in the black bowl and the Cream, the one in the tin tube with the small red cap. The soap is very good. Another is Palmolive stick. The cream I aint so kean on but is good as well. IF you've got a Savers or one of those pound style stores you'll be able to pick up a good range of 'cheap' but good products. Brut, Old Spice aswell. Ingrams is my fav cream though. Works well through out the year with any brush I find.

Kiss My Face isn't exactly dirt cheap, but it's a lot less than most creams and is a really good product, to boot.

C.O. Bigelow (available at Bath and Body Works) is basically repackaged Proraso Green. If your LOTH likes to shop there, you can sometimes get a coupon for a free item with a $20 purchase; that's how I got my first tube. Can't get much cheaper than free!

Nothing here over $5, and most are $3 or less. Just about anything that comes from India, Russia, Bulgaria, or Germany is great stuff and produced cheaply. If you can find a good source for them, they are well worth trying.

I'll go along with KMF and let me add arko creams, both are amazing by themselves and more so when considering price points.

My favorite is honestly VdH Deluxe for soaps. I wish I could say Ingram, but getting it here in the states is a bit too expensive to be a "budget" cream.

If you ignore shipping, I'd say Ikar Tornado from Bulgaria is my favorite cheap cream, at just under $4 per tube.

In no particular order: Arko stick, Wilkinson Sword stick, Palmolive stick, Erasmic soap (in bowl), VDH (deluxe or luxury), and Godrej soap.

What's the budget here? I've never used (or, TBH, looked up) Godrej, except just now on a google shopping search and it bought up £5/tube and £6 for soap... so in that respect a MWF for £5/6 would that be eligible?

Although from some of the above, with Ingram, Arko and Palmolive (all of which i have and like...), etc, I'd probably have assumed under £3 would be 'budget'.

I buy Godrej cream for $2 a tube at Indian grocery stores. If they stocked the soap it would probably be around $1. WCS sells the soap for $3. You just need to look around for the right place to buy the stuff.

CO Bigelow - I bought 4 tubes in a buy 2 get 2 sale, so it came to $5/tube
Maca Root Shave Cream - 2 for 1 deal commonly available, so $5 for a 5oz tube.
Dalan D'men Shave Cream - $1.50 for a 65g tube
Lea Mentholated Shave Cream - 100g tube for $6, delivered.
Cade Shaving Soap - $12 for a 3.5oz puck
RazoRock Fresco - 150ml for $6

I'm using Ingrams now, and love it!

The cheapest products I would be comfortable using again:

Arko/Derby/Tweex shave sticks
Palmolive stick
Ingrams quality lather shave cream (loving the menthol hit!)
Arko/Derby shave creams

All are under a few dollars, and all produce an acceptable lather with no fuss.
