Favorite Pre-Shave Oil?

Hackett is very good for the price (£2.99), art of shaving gave me good results, did once use an organic oil which was good but cant remember its name, currently using founders reserve mandarin & patchouli and i find it excellent as you only need a very small amount to get the blade to slide over that stubble, their shaving cream and pre shave hot towel mask is great as well.

Shave Secret.

Its not really a PreShave Oil as it is marketed to be used as a stand alone product, but it does great as far using it under the cream.

Provides an extra slick layer of protection.

I've used the AoS, but I don't really think it helps that much, at least not for me. I use it occasionally only because I have it -- I will not buy it again.

Plain sweet almond oil. Less than two dollars for two ounces (you can probably get it even cheaper). I'm not saying that it is the best stuff out there, but it works and seems to be real good for my skin.

I have to get some sunflower seed oil and try that soon as well.

Pure olive oil, not extra virgin, works well. The only thing I don't like about oil preshave is the mess it leaves in the sink.
