Tough call between those two. All my favourite Bond movies are from the Connery stable - I like the others, but I am of an age that grew up with SC and he is just Bond for me - so if I really had to choose, I'd say YOLT, with DAF as a honourable mention. Dr No is in the mix too. Damn, can I have three favourites?
I grew up in the Moore era and remember seeing Moonraker in the theater. Also saw Octopussy in the theater when I was around 13 yrs. old (snicker), and boy was I disappointed! A couple of those Moore films are really bad.
I love when they have the Bond marathons on TV. The Sean Connery films from the 60s are definitely my favorite, I like them all, though honestly I haven't watched any of the Bond films post-Moore. I guess that means I have to watch 8 (soon 9) to get caught up...
Definitely Gold finger and From Russia With Love. I really like them all, although some of the Moore ones were terrible. I still watch the bad ones though. It's like watching cult B movies or a train wreck.
Goldfinger, and From Russia With Love; but I agree the Daniel Craig movies are good--he plays Bond a little darker than the others did, and I like that.
Thats a tough question, I haven't seen them all yet so I really can't judge.
But so far my favorite bond movies are Tomorrow never dies and for your eyes only.
I have other favorites also, but I can't remember the titles.
one more, this world is not enough.
