Eye Droppered Roller Ball

Has anyone tried eye droppering a Kaweco Liquid Ink Cartridge Roller Ball Pen? I'm finding that I generally prefer a fountain pen, but there are times that I want or need a roller ball, be it for carbon copies or those "hey, can I borrow a pen?" moments. Since their Cartridge Roller Balls take the same cartridges as their fountain pens, I don't see any reason eye droppering wouldn't work on them.

the roller ball end may leak, I don't know if it would or not, just something to watch out for

but I know Scott from franklin Christoph and a few other makers out there now use fountain pen ink and converters in some of there systems and they don't seem to leak.... you may have to be the guinea pig and let us know how it works out
