Well after going back and forth with these two (literally), I really can't come out with a favorite. I bowl lather with soap and they both create a really good end result.

The feel of the pure badger is obviously scratchy/exfoliating while the cream boar is very slick, almost greasy. Opposite but good.

Maybe I'll start using both for one shave, the badger on the first pass to stand the hairs up and and boar when I start getting closer to the skin.
