I've made a few brushes with eucalyptus burl. Each blank I've used had large voids which I filled with epoxy before finishing the handle. Did you find this to be true as well?​

It sure was full of voids! I finished the outside with CA and it took a good amount of time to fill the holes and sand it down again before applying the coats over everthing. I filled the inside ones where the knot hole was drilled with epoxy.

My next tool I want is a slow speed lathe like device to use clear epoxy finish.

My buddy from work who uses a TGN Finest brush I made him (MI State colors for a MI State grad). Decided to keep the brush, he couldnt let it sit without using it. He likes it a lot
