So I'm waiting on delivery of my second straight...this one is NOT shave ready and I'm planning on prettying her up and trying my hand at getting her shave ready on my own.
I'll be looking for some granite or marble as a base for what I hope to use for the business side of things.
I had a look at the wiki, and couldn't really see what I was looking for. Is there an advised "entry/beginner kit for lapping films"
I know, I know...it lacks mojo...and I can't really use oil
but I think it's a nice and cheap way to get a "feel" for making my own shaving edge.
Basically, I'm looking for advice to tell me what films I should be getting - also, someone that ships to little old Australia.
