EMS shipping charges

I'm considering placing an order for some SE blades from EMS (link: http://www.emsdiasum.com/microscopy/products/preparation/blades.aspx).

Can anyone here attest to their shipping costs, and which shipping option would be cheapest? They don't seem to be very upfront about what the shipping charges will be. Thanks.

last time I ordered from them it came out to about 7 dollars. In the past it was only 5 dollars. Maybe it depends how they feel at the time? I believe these are the same and the shipping is free. I'd get it confirmed from another member to be sure before purchasing these.

No, that's a different deal than Amazon had before. Since it's from Berktree it's not subject to the free shipping deal.

I agree EMS was kind of devious about shipping when I bought my injector cartridges from them. Three injector carts came to about $7 UPS ground. At least it wasn't FedEx with a signature requirement.

This is what we've done before from Amazon but it's now shown as indefinitely out of stock.

Yeah, amazon selling out is what caused me to look into EMS. It is a sad day for SE shavers.

Another data point, in case it's helpful:
When I ordered my SE blades in November '09, I got 200 (PTFE-coated stainless) blades from tedpella.com for $39.83 after shipping.

I made the dive and ordered the Pella blades. They're cheaper per blade than ordering from EMS, and I grabbed a package of 20 injector blades for $4.60--quite cheap.
