I don't collect empty bottles, just ones that still contain the magical elixir.

Dear God, that thread is HUGE!!!! It would take me a week to go through the thing. It looks to me like most of the guys on that thread are looking for full bottle though. I have a least one empty that I'm looking to pass along but wanted to get a feel of whether or not there would be any interest before posting as such. If figured that the AS forum would be a better place for that than the general shave discussion.
The empty bottles aren't worth much, in fact the postage may surpass the value. There are a few rarer bottles that you might get some interest in, but the real value to most Avon collectors and users are full bottles. I have picked up several here and there, all under $5, all full. I did buy one empty bottle, the large blue razor, and paid $7 shipped off the bay.
I routinely find full bottles for $1-$2 at antique store and thrift shops. Depending on what bottle you have, there might be some interest, but as mentioned, shipping is a killer on those bottles.

Thanks for the info. The one I have on hand right now is the 'Little Brown Jug'. I wanted to see if there might be anybody who would want it, before chucking it in the recycling bin.
I don't "collect" per se, but there are a few bottles I'd like to get my hands on for day to day use. I wish I had room for a collection. I barely have enough room for what I use.
Ahh, the little brown jug is pretty nice. It is small enough that you could ship it for a couple bucks. But now we're treading on B/S/T territory and sales /trades are not allowed outside the B/S/T.

That's the beauty of it. I'm not looking to sell, it's there for the taking. I just didn't announce it as a PIF.
Oh, cool. I have one, but maybe someone else would like it. It is a pretty cool bottle.
