Not only did the stationery shop not stock the Elco papers anymore (the employee even didn't recognize the cover) ... but the whole shop was having a final sale, with almost everything gone already. I bought some Lamy and Parker ink cartridges (€0,09 per cartridge), but there were no fine papers anymore. (There was one Cross Townsend FP left, and a few Parker IM's).
The employee in the store told me they were closing because of the economic depression. I think the decline in handwriting must be a factor as well, unfortunately.
