i am kind of unsure as regards the performance. because of the handle shape.

I love the Georgian! The handle is substantial, with a great balance. It's not difficult to use either. The handle isn't awkward in any way...in fact it makes it easy to wield. I use this razor exclusively...in rotation with my Merkur 38C.
The EJ head is the new Muhle design...which is a hair less aggressive than the 38c. Smooth shaving, and great fit and finish.

Unfortunately, I dropped mine on the bathroom floor last week and cracked the handle...irreparably. I was not a happy camper. I am going to have to order a new one ASAP!

Just bought one myself a week ago. I like the overall look of the razor and handle. Well made. Head is flawless. Shaves very nice. Go for it.
