Edwin Jagger with a Merkur head?

I was planning on buying and EJ Georgian DE. And putting a Merkur head from my Rooney DE.
I just wanted to make sure if it could fit the EJ handle. Would it?

Yep! I have an EJ DE89 and use the Merkur open comb head with the handle. Works great!
