Edwin Jagger Sandalwood

I have been using the Edwin Jagger Sandalwood soap and although I don't think the soap is the "greatest" I absolutely LOVE the scent (and so does my wife). I was wondering, anybody know of any "better" soaps with a similar scent? My understanding is that Sandalwood is not Sandalwood depending on the brand of soap.

Also, anybody tried the EJ Sandalwood aftershave lotion? Does it have the same great scent and does it last through the day?

The EJ Sandalwood aftershave balm does have the same great scent which lasts quiet a while, and it is very soothing.

This has been my experience as well. The scent is outstanding, but the performance of the cream and soap are average at best. And none of the sandalwoods out there smell anything like EJ (I've tried Trumper, QED, Vintageblades, Kell's, DR Harris AS).

The balm is rich and thick and very moisturizing. Heavily scented, slightly more powdery than the cream/soap, but the scent is otherwise very close, and lasts a long time.
