Eclipse straight ?

The last surviving person of my father's generation of my family and I met again this summer - as we usually do. But this time she brought me my Greatuncle Claude's straight razor. He was Army WW1 and apparently left it in a VA hospital. The VA sent it back to him on May 23, 1943. It was still in the same postmarked envelope when I received it.

All it says is: Eclipse on it.

The blade edge does not appear to be straight - but rather somewhat curved.

Anybody ever heard of this maker?

Is it worth restoring?

You need to take photos for us. Curved means a smiling edge, an edge straight razor shavers love. Look at both sides of the tang for more identification.

I don't recognize the name but it's got a great story so let's hope it's got the goods to match. Pictures will tell alot.

I googled and saw a vintage Boker model called Eclipse and an Eclipse Cutlery one with Germany on the opposite side of the tang.
