Eclipse Red Ring Repair

The handle on my red ring will rotate in place when the top plate is not tightened down. Can anyone recommend a source of repair? Hopefully in the US.

I had a $15 local find, Red Ring Eclipse years ago, with the same issue. I sent mine to the UK.

My video in the linked thread, shows how bad mine was. It came back good as new, he even painted the Red Ring for me and a few other touch ups.

It was RestoredRazors at the time. I'm not sure if it links to the same person now or not.

I've only deal with Dave from RestoredRazors and can't say enough good about my dealings.

he was fast, friendly, affordable, and did great work. I had my Red Ring Eclipse repaired as the handle was spinning as well as he touched up the posts with replating and a few other things.

So to me, he was the complete package. Repair and restore.

Thanks for the info. I think I will try to contact Dave. It looks like he is in New Zealand now, though.
