Man that was fun!

Six weeks into wet shaving with a Merkur 180 and I decided that I wanted to give the Vintage Gillettes a try soon. Since Friday, I have scored a '53 Super Speed, '58 Flair Tip (from Garry's Samples), '64 Tech and a '66 Travel Tech. A little inexpensive fun and I look forward to trying them out. If they are not for me, I plan on passing them along to my brother-in-laws or friends that I have been actively trying to convert. One buddy just ordered a Merkur 33c.

great selection. You will enjoy cleaning them up, and really enjoy using them. I recently picked up a super adjustable and a super speed both with a date code of T-2, and didn't realized I did it until I got my adjustable in the mail and was recording the date code and year in my book.

gunslinger,

How do you recommend I clean them up? I have read a few different techniques.

Sacre Bleu! No Aristocrat!!!! lololoolol Nice selection and I'm glad you're enjoying the vintage Gillettes. Enjoy your shaves!

Ding, ding, ding, ding !!!! Add a '53 Gillette Red Tip to the list and a bottle of Hydrocide. No luck on the Single Ring, but not for lack of trying.

Aristocrat? Doesn't look like it is in my price range.......for now.
