I won my 1st ever ebay auction for June 17, 1941 Gillette military issue razor in new condition in original box. I could not pass this up. The seller indicated brown wear spots on handle. Not a Ranger Tech, but a fat handle tech. It probably just needs a good cleaning and its good to go.

Contract awarded by the Jersey City Quartermaster Depot, War Department, 17 JUN 1941. Someone like Crapgame from "Kelly's Heroes" would have asked for a bottle of whiskey to issue it to you.
Are you going to open one of the blades? If so, look for the date code. It might give you a clue as to year/quarter of manufacture. I mean, in addition to the obvious clue of the contract date: 6/17/41.
