Dubl Duck Stainless

Dubl Ducks are known to be very good razors (from what I have read). I have never shaved with one and never have I had the opportunity to hone, or own one. A DD in good to excellent condition can get pretty expensive, but they are pretty blades in nice scales.

One of the rarest models that I have read about is the Dubl Duck Stainless. It was apparently one of the last models manufactured under the Dubl Duck name before the company went out of production, and it seems that not many of them got into the open market. Is that why they are rare? Or were they some sort of limited edition? Would you pay 500$ for a DD Stainless?

I would not pay $500 for a DD stainless.

Which is not to say that it may not be worth $500 to someone. I'm sure it's an excellent shaving razor, and it is a rather rare bird.

But ,personally I'd buy two NOS Filly #14's instead of one razor of any kind for $500.

especially in stainless eeek man I hate that little bite they have

The DD stainless isn't even close to being one of the rarest ducks. Also. I've never seen one go for $500 or anything near $500. I think specimens in great shape go for closer to $200.

I don't know what your talking about.

But no, I wouldn't pay $500 for a DD stainless. Maybe if it was 8/8 DD stainless, but I'd rather get an Ellis for that price. Might as well throw in another $100 or so.
