dreaded blue and yellow?

Saw these on ebay, was thinking of picking them up - but is that the dreaded blue and yellow on the blades?

They look like identical surface reflections to me. I'd ask the seller, just to confirm.

I would agree, it looks more like a lighting issue rather than problem with the blades.

I believe he is referring to the color metal takes on when overheated, there by ruining the temper and its ability to take an edge.
