DR Harris Windsor Smells Like.

I don't personally get the Terre d' Hermes similarity. TdH has more citrus - primarily grapefruit - and an awesome flint note. Or at least it used to.
I have both and Windsor does not smell like TdH to me. The TdH parfum doesn't have the flinty note of the EdT, but it has the orange and lots of other interesting notes.
Windsor has more pepper only and smells a bit like TdH in the base notes that come out after a couple of hours. Still, they are two very different scents to me. I love them both.

I mainly get a sweet, herbal scent from it. Good thing because I generally don't like the pepper note.
I don't like the pepper either - way too much of it in Windsor, but the vetiver in there is quite nice and subtle.
It's the vetiver in the base notes that makes it smell a bit like TdH. Otherwise, I think they are two entirely different scents. I don't get much, if any, pepper from the TdH parfum.

I find Windsor is much closer to Moonshine than it is to Terre d'Hermes. Windsor has a noticeable pepper during drydown as does Moonshine, but I do not get that with TdH. Instead, TdH has a sweet synthetic citrus note during drydown.
Several months ago I did Terre d'Hermes Comparison Week where I compared TdH to frags which many have claimed to be similar and here is how I ranked them:
1.Borsari Acqua Classica
2.D R Harris Windsor
3.Yardley London Citrus & Wood
4.Hermes Terre d'Hermes Parfum
5.Hermes Terre d'Hermes
6.Montale Red Vetyver

Thanks, Nick. I agree with you entirely on this. The Parfum is a new winner for me and I too get no pepper from it. Smoother fragrance all round and I still get some of that flint note that I recall in the original EdT, pre-reformulation.

Really, I have tried Royall Rugby and quite liked it along with a couple of other Royall fragrances.
