DR Harris Almond Shaving Stick Problem

Bought a D.R. Harris Almond Shaving Sitck a couple of weeks ago for in my travel bag. Had a shave with it Tuesday morning and there is no scent whatsoever. I have let other people have a sniff of the soap, mixed and not mixed and they agree, no scent.

I have eMailed DR Harris twice this week and they have ignored both eMails. What do you think is next option? Has anybody else had this problem?

What do you know, within 10 minutes of posting this, they send a reply. Maybe coincidence? Strange, they are not interested in me returning it for quality checking or anything. Last time I buy anything off them...

Sometimes I feel bad for complaining about things, but 6 Pounds for a shaving stick that smells of nothing is not my cup of tea.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the Almond shaving stick. I am sorry that you are disappointed with the fragrance. The almond fragrance is added at a fairly low concentration so as not to be overwhelming or to conflict with aftershave fragrance. We sell very many of this item and I due to the method of production I cannot think that we can have some without fragrance. Perhaps it is down to personal preference?

I find it to have almost no scent.

Harris Almond has very little scent to me. It tends to have mostly a soapy scent to it both in stick and puck form.

OK, maybe I was hoping it to be more like the Taylors and Trumpers. Not part of a bad batch.

Such customer service ... they're bending over backwards to help you so much, they've done a complete 360 and it looks like they're not bending over at all.
